The sight of wide deck ovens, functional cake mixers and marble worktop perks me up. The smell of baking cookies, tarts and cakes delights me. The taste of a good pastry or cake puts me in a blissful mood. Thank God for my senses!
‘To Bake with Love’ is my motto. Selecting quality ingredients, fussing over the best baking temperature and collecting all sorts of baking gadgets is what i love doing. I think the key ingredient in any good pastry or cake is the baker's passion and lots of T.L.C.
I hope to share many delightful treats that are huge on taste and not too demanding on our waistline or arteries. Then again... there will be some occasional ‘splurge’ moments that are absolutely necessary to keep the scale balanced. So enjoy, it’s Sylvia’s treat!
